§ 502-20. Obstructed or Defaced Signs.

  • No provision of the traffic code requiring signs shall be enforceable against an alleged violator if, at the time and place of the alleged violation, the sign required is not in proper position and sufficiently clear to be recognized by an ordinarily observant person. The provisions of any section which does not state that signs are required shall be effective without them.
