§ 501-1-S8. Streetcar Obstruction Zone.

  • "Streetcar obstruction zone" means the physical corridor used by streetcar vehicles during movement along the streetcar track (including a safety buffer), measuring five feet six inches (5'6") outward in both directions from the center of the track slab (11' wide in total), as depicted in Figure 501-1-S8, except that if the city has officially striped a parking lane along the edge of the streetcar obstruction zone, then the streetcar obstruction zone extends to the stripe's curb-side edge.
