§ 910-19. Violation of Special Event Ordinance.

  • No person, firm, association or corporation shall violate any provision of a special event ordinance passed by the members of council. For purposes of this section, "special event ordinance" means a permanent or temporary ordinance that establishes or authorizes the city manager to establish the location of and/or rules, regulations or restrictions governing a parade, performance, presentation, speech, exhibition, or any other event or gathering of persons in or on a public street, venue, park, facility or any other public property in the city.

    Following a warning, whoever violates a provision contained in a special event ordinance is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Following a warning, whoever violates a provision contained in any special event ordinance that pertains to the advertising or the sale of food, beverages, goods, merchandise or services of any kind, including restrictions, suspensions or the temporary revocation of any vending license or permit issued by the City of Cincinnati, in addition to being guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree, is also subject to the confiscation of any remaining food, beverages, goods, advertising materials, coupons, product samples or any other items related to the restricted sales or advertising, by the Police Chief or his designee.
