§ 407-57. Distance Traveled Not in Service.

Where the taximeter rate is used, no charge shall be made by a taxicab or accessible vehicle for the distance traversed in responding to a call where such distance is one mile or less. Where the distance is in excess of one mile, a charge of not more than 16 cents a mile or fraction thereof may be made for the excess distance.
