§ 407-40. Information Requirements for Taxis.

  • Each taxicab shall display signage in the interior of the vehicle on a standard form supplied by the city, the driver's name and city license number. The taxicab signage shall be posted so that it is clearly visible to passengers and shall be capable of being illuminated in low visibility or at night. The signage shall also express the required information, except for the name of the driver, in Braille format and, if available, shall incorporate a quick response code or other technology that allows passengers to translate the sign information into multiple foreign languages.
