§ 406-79. No Vested Rights Conferred.

  • The city of Cincinnati reserves for cause, the right to alter, amend or repeal any ordinance granting or giving consent to a certificate of authority or permit, and reserves the right to alter, amend, change or modify the certificate of authority or permit granted under this chapter or of any ordinance supplementary or amendatory thereof, to use any route or routes on the public highways of the city of Cincinnati, and also reserves the right to revoke for cause, any certificate of authority or permit granted by virtue of this chapter or any ordinance, to any motor transportation company, and all special privileges obtained of the character set out herein shall immediately cease and terminate upon the altering, amending, or repealing of any ordinance or ordinances, or of any sections of this chapter under which such certificate of authority, permit or privilege may have been obtained or exercised, or upon the altering, modifying, extending, shortening or changing of any route or routes used by motor transportation companies, or upon the revocation of any certificate of authority, or permit, insofar as such right or rights are affected by this action.
