§ 406-53. Numbers and Signs.

  • Every motor vehicle operated by a motor transportation company under certificate or permit shall have printed on the rear and on the front or both sides a serial bus number. The height of these numbers shall be at least three inches, and they shall be of such color as will contrast distinctly with the color of the body of the vehicle.

    In addition, every motor vehicle operated by a motor transportation company under certificate or permit shall carry on the front thereof a block or train number, indicating the position of the vehicle in the established schedule of the route on which it is running.

    In addition, every motor vehicle operated by a motor transportation company shall carry on the front thereof a sign indicating its route or destination.
