§ 406-19. Operating Schedules and Fees.

  • The director shall approve for the period from the date of beginning of operation of route, until the first day of April, or October, next succeeding, the schedules of each motor transportation company operating buses wholly within the city of Cincinnati, or wholly within the city of Cincinnati and municipalities immediately contiguous thereto, and shall determine therefrom the total bus hours of operation of such company within the city of Cincinnati for such period, a bus hour being one hour's operation for one bus.

    Thereafter, on or before the first day of April or October, the director shall approve for the succeeding six months the schedules of such companies and determine therefrom the total bus hours of operation within the city of Cincinnati of each of said companies for each such 6-month period. The fee payable by each such company shall be at the rate of 8 cents for each bus hour operation. Such fees shall be credited to the public service fund and shall be in addition to all state license fees on motor vehicles.
