§ 405-25. Underground Wiring.

  • All public pay telephones on public property shall be served solely by underground electrical conduits. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, a public pay telephone attached to a building and overhanging the right-of-way may, with the concurrence of the director of public works, be served by wiring through a wall. Any person installing a public pay telephone on public property, served by underground electrical conduits must maintain a certificate of full participatory membership to the Ohio Utilities Protection Service, including any documentation relevant to the member's notification area as requested by the director of public works.
