§ 404-43. Bond.

Any person, company or corporation desiring to engage in the business of lighting by electricity under the provisions of this chapter shall, as a condition precedent to the consideration of such application, execute a good and sufficient bond in the sum of $60,000, conditioned to carry out and faithfully execute all the provisions contained in this chapter, and also conditioned to save the city harmless from any liability accruing through injury to life or property in the construction, maintenance and operation of such business. The bond shall be approved by the city solicitor as to form and by the city manager as to sufficiency.
