§ 401-93-B. Reconnection of Water Service Charge.

  • (a)

    When water service has been terminated as a result of nonpayment of a water bill or failure to comply with the Cincinnati water works rules and regulations, there shall be a service charge levied against the account of the customer for the reconnection of water service. The amount of the service charge shall be based on the cost of providing the service, and shall be set by the director of water works with the approval of the city manager.

    (b)

    No service charge shall be levied against an account for the reconnection of water service when water service is being restored and/or reconnected to a customer not responsible for the termination of the service.
