§ 401-82. Exemptions from Charges.

  • If no water is consumed in a billing period then no water supply services shall be billed for the following:

    (a)

    Unused service branches installed for vacant unimproved property in connection with highway improvements, which have not been extended beyond the curb stop.

    (b)

    New service branches installed for new construction, prior to the installation and inspection of the water meter, or prior to being used for the purpose intended, or prior to the occupancy of the premises served, whichever occurs first. Billing shall be at the rates specified in Sections 401-76 and 401-77 upon the first regular billing after one of the above conditions is met.
