§ 401-22. Record of Outstanding Charges to be Filed with the County Auditor.

  • The superintendent shall maintain a record of all charges outstanding against premises abutting streets improved with water main extensions in accordance with Plan 3 or Plan 4. Such record shall be suitably indexed as to streets and parts of streets, and shall at all times be available for public inspection. With the consent of the county auditor of Hamilton county, a duplicate copy of such record shall be kept on file in the office of the county auditor for the convenience of title examiners and prospective purchasers of real estate. As charges are paid or as new charges are imposed, the necessary notations shall be made in the record by way of amendment or supplement. Such notations by way of amendment or supplement shall be copied into the county auditor's duplicate record at intervals of not more than 30 days. The record shall at all times be accompanied by a statement from the superintendent indicating the date to which the record has been carried.
