§ 306-9. Efficiency Standards.

  • The city manager shall from time to time make investigations for the purpose of ascertaining the duties imposed by law, ordinance or practice upon each officer and employee included in the classified salary schedule of the city of Cincinnati, the manner in which such duties are performed, the cost thereof, and such other facts as will assist in determining the efficiency of such officers and employees, based upon similarity of duties and salaries, and in standardizing employment in each class.

    The city manager shall prescribe factors or quantities to be used in marking the relative efficiency of each officer or employee in the several classes; and shall fix standards of efficiency to be maintained by each officer and employee.
