§ 306-70. Voluntary Donations to Greater Cincinnati Water Works' Help Eliminate Lead Pipes ("HELP") Program.

(a)

The director of finance is hereby authorized to deduct from the salary or wages of any city employee such amounts as may be authorized and agreed to by such employee as a donation to the Greater Cincinnati Water Works' Help Eliminate Lead Pipes ("HELP") Program to assist low-income residential property owners with the cost of replacement of private lead service lines.

(b)

The form of authorization and consent for deduction from salaries or wages of such employee shall be approved by the director of finance.

(c)

The director of finance is further authorized to draw a warrant upon the city treasurer in favor of the Greater Cincinnati Water Works' HELP Program in amounts equal to the total deductions made in accordance with this section.
