§ 305-21. Additional Positions Bonded.

  • Whenever, in the opinion of the city manager by reason of the scope and nature of the responsibilities of the position, bonding is considered desirable in order to protect the interests of the city, the city manager shall require that officers and employees other than those enumerated in Sections 305-1 to 305-19 be bonded in an amount determined sufficient by the city manager, based upon the evaluation of the amount of money or negotiable paper for which the position is responsible.

    A schedule of the positions and the amount of bond required for each, as determined by the city manager, shall be maintained in the city manager's office.
