Individuals who are hired for training under the New Careers Program and whose full
salaries are reimbursed by the Community Action Commission shall be ineligible for
membership in the city retirement system during any period of time they are participating
in the New Careers Program.
Individuals who are hired after June 30, 1979, as participants in any program authorized,
undertaken or financed pursuant to the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act shall
be ineligible for membership in the city retirement system during any period of time
they are participating in such program.
