Service creditable at retirement, on which the Service Retirement Allowance of a Member
shall be based, shall consist of Creditable Service. The Board shall not credit as
service for any period of more than one month's duration during which the Employee
was absent without pay. The Board shall have power to add to the service creditable
to any Member the service in a similar capacity rendered for the government of territory
annexed to the City.
