§ 108-5. Direct Alarm Terminations to the City of Cincinnati Police Division.

  • The city manager or the person designated by the city manager is hereby authorized to promulgate rules and adopt a schedule of fees for the use and maintenance of city communications systems and city property by business establishments requesting direct installation of security alarm systems to the Cincinnati police division. The regulations shall relate to eligibility of establishments for obtaining such service, nature and type of alarm receiving equipment to be connected to the city facilities, the number of such connections to be permitted, and the procedures to be followed in regard to installation, maintenance, use of and application for such installations. The regulations and fee schedule shall be based upon but not limited to consideration of space and personnel requirements, cost to the city, and the practical and efficient operation of the system, in the best interest of law enforcement and the city. The fee schedule shall include but is not limited to charges for connections, service fee and a false alarm fee.
