§ 104-2. Reproduction of the Corporate Seal.

  • The design of the corporate seal of the city of Cincinnati shall not be reproduced, except as required by any provision of the Ohio Constitution, the Revised Code or the Cincinnati Municipal Code, unless permission to do so is first obtained from the city manager. The city manager may authorize reproduction of the design of the corporate seal when the purpose is to:

    (a)

    Permit publication of a reproduction of the corporate seal of the city of Cincinnati;

    (b)

    Aid educational or historical programs;

    (c)

    Promote the economic or cultural development of the city in a manner deemed appropriate by the city manager.

    No person shall use or permit to be used any reproductions or facsimile of the corporate seal or a counterfeit or nonofficial version of the corporate seal for any purpose not authorized by the city manager.

    Whoever violates this section shall be guilty of unlawful reproduction of the corporate seal, a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
