§ 101-35. Legislative Service.

  • The legislative service shall consist of employees in the city service primarily engaged in legislative duties for or at the request of the council or a council member. It shall include the clerk of council, such other subordinate officers as shall be necessary in the performance of the duties of the clerk's office, assistants to the council appointed to positions in the unclassified city service to perform clerical, research or related legislative duties, and such other employees as council may designate by ordinance to perform duties related to council's legislative function.
