§ 1. Urban Forestry.

In addition to the powers and duties granted to the board of park commissioners by the charter of the city of Cincinnati and the laws of the state of Ohio, there is hereby conferred upon the board of park commissioners the power and duty of urban forestry and the board of park commissioners shall plan, regulate, enforce, control the planting, protection, maintenance, removal, and replanting of public trees of the city and utilize wood and forest products produced in the course of operations.
