§ 11. Commission to Rule on Work Experience Requirements.

The Commission may establish work experience requirements for each classification, which will be written into the official classification specifications. Furthermore, the specification for each classification shall be considered as an addendum to these Rules. All applicants who meet the qualifications as established by the Civil Service Commission shall be eligible to take open competitive examinations and be considered for the exceptional appointment process. Applicants for open competitive examinations and the exceptional appointment process wishing to appeal the rejection of their application for failure to possess the required work experience time may submit their appeal to the Civil Service Commission in writing no later than fourteen calendar days from the date on the rejection notice.
