§ 00011-11. Inspections

  • (A) The Health Commissioner is hereby authorized and directed to make inspections to determine the condition of transient accommodations and premises location within the Cincinnati Health Department District in order that the Health Commissioner may perform their duty of safeguarding the health and safety of transients and of the general public. For the purpose of making such inspections, the Health Commissioner and/or their designee, is hereby authorized to enter, examine and survey at all reasonable times all transient accommodations and premises. The person in charge there of shall grant the Health Commissioner free access to such transient accommodations and its premises at all reasonable times for the purpose of such inspection, examination or survey. Every transient shall give the owner of such transient accommodations, or his agent or employee, access to any part of such transient accommodations, or its premises, at all reasonable times for the purpose of making such repairs or alterations as are necessary to effect compliance with the provisions of this regulation or any lawful rule or regulation adopted or any lawful order issued pursuant to the provisions of this regulation.

    (B) The Health Commissioner and/or their designee shall have the authority to inspect and examine the register containing a record of all persons using the facilities at the transient accommodation.
