§ 7. Acquisition and Appropriation of Real Property, Assessments

  • The city solicitor shall have charge of all services auxiliary to council and the clerk of council in connection with the performance of their duties in the acquisition of real property and interests thereon, in the appropriating of real property to public use, and in the levying of assessments. The notice server employed by the solicitor shall be authorized to serve all notices required by law to be personally served. Where the law requires service of notice to be made by a particular officer, the notice server making the service shall be authorized to act as deputy or assistant to such officer.
