§ 6. Acceptance of Dedicated Streets

  • It shall be the duty of the solicitor, acting upon the request of council or any of its committees or the city manager, to examine the records of the different county officers, and to prepare ordinances accepting, on the part of the city, such streets, alleys and other public places which may have been or which are about to be dedicated to the public, and which said council, committee, or city manager may recommend, in order that the control of the same may be under the direction of council.
